1. Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology in Primary Health Care
Study in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and knowledge production in Primary Health Care focusing on the theoretical and epistemological deepening of public policies on health and education, the health/education binomial, and the understanding of the health process related to its social determinants. This area seeks to study disease prevention and health promotion in the various fields in speech-language pathology and audiology, as well as to expand the knowledge related to science in its breadth and association with Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. In addition, this research area seeks to develop studies that contribute to the creation of public health and education policies that enable the elaboration of measures providing comprehensive care for the population beyond the curative, biologicistic, and medicalizing process, focusing on aspects of health promotion within the community in the most different social contexts, within the scope of speech-language pathology and audiology.

Study of diseases and health problems and the use of innovative technological practices aimed at diagnosis and rehabilitation of speech-language pathology and audiology disorders. Knowledge production in medium and high complexity health care concerning the fields of language, voice, swallowing, orofacial motricity, hearing, and balance.
